How to Play 90-Ball Bingo

About the game

90-ball bingo is now the most popular version of the game in the world. While it’s always been a fan-favorite, being able to play online bingo on your computer in the comfort of your home, or on a mobile device while you’re out and about guarantees the game will be around for many years to come. It’s fast, fun and easy to play, with great potential prizes up for grabs, so what’s not to love about this exciting game?

To put yourself in the running for a win, you’ll need to buy a ticket and, as numbers are randomly generated, watch as they’re marked off on the grid to form 1-line, 2-line and Full House patterns.

Buy your tickets

Your virtual bingo journey starts when you buy your game tickets. These come in strips of six tickets with the numbers 1 to 90 spread across the six. Each ticket has a 3×9 grid of numbers and four blank squares. The numbers that appear on each ticket are arranged as follows:

  • 1 to 9 in column 1
  • 10 to 19 in column 2
  • 20 to 29 in column 3
  • 30 to 39 in column 4
  • 40 to 49 in column 5
  • 50 to 59 in column 6
  • 60 to 69 in column 7
  • 70 to 79 in column 8
  • 80 to 90 in column 9

When buying your ticket, you’ll see the price per ticket in the purchase panel on the left side of your screen at the top or on the bingo card itself. You can purchase up to 96 tickets per game to increase your chances of winning!

Payouts and jackpots

When you play bingo online, you’ll aim to cover one or more patterns that can bring you a win. There are three patterns, and each has its own prize.

  • 1 line: you’ll cover or “daub” all the numbers in any single row.
  • 2 lines: all the numbers in any two rows are covered.
  • Full House: all 15 numbers on a ticket are covered.

The size of a game's payout is based on the cost of each ticket and the number of players who take part in a particular online bingo game. A higher ticket price and the more players who participate in a game, the higher the value of the prize. Less often, a game might have a fixed minimum prize, regardless of the number of players who participate or the price of the tickets. Sometimes, progressive jackpots are offered in specific games.

Start to play bingo

Once you’ve bought your ticket, the next step is to wait for the game to start. The "Game Starts" countdown will appear in the top left corner of your screen. With games starting every few minutes, you’ll never have to wait too long to play online bingo!

When the game starts, you’ll see all the details you need to play displayed in the information bar at the top of your tickets. This includes the number of players in the game, as well as the three pattern prizes and any jackpot prizes up for grabs.

Playing 90-ball bingo couldn’t be easier – just sit back and watch as the numbers are randomly generated and marked off automatically on your ticket!

Winning

When a player achieves a winning pattern, the game stops and you’ll see a message on your screen that shows who has won and how much they’ve collected.
