\u201cThe return of championship poker to Borgata is a long time coming.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\nVincent Alonge Jr., Borgata\u2019s Director of Poker Operations.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Borgata is excited to announce that we\u2019ve partnered with BetMGM Poker for a live major series poker tournament at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. \u201cThe Return\u201d series joins the many other exciting Borgata poker tournaments<\/a> and will take place from January 2\u20138, 2023, and consist of four events hosted in Atlantic City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The two highlights of this series are undoubtedly the $3M Championship Tournament and the $1M Mystery Bounty event. Here is a breakdown of the four events you can look forward to.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The $3M Championship Tournament<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Championship Tournament has a $5,300 buy-in and gives players the opportunity to compete for a guaranteed prize pool of $3 million. Those who make it to the final table stand a chance to win the first-place prize of $1 million with no payout structure adjustments. This event starts on January 4, with the winner being decided at the final table on January 8.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

$1M Mystery Bounty event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first-ever Mystery Bounty event will take place on January 2 and 3, and the action will play out using the Deep Stack Mystery Bounty format. Unlike the traditional bounty system in which players are awarded a fixed amount for eliminating a player, players will instead draw a Mystery Bounty. The variation will be No Limit Hold’Em with the option for re-entry and will offer a guaranteed $1 million in bounties, with the main prize of $250,000 going to the winner of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Borgata Bounty and Super Survivor Event<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final two events in The Return are the $1000 Borgata Bounty and Super $10,000 Survivor Event. These events will occur between January 6 and 8.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifying for the tournament<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those who consider taking part in the qualifiers, a complete list of events is available on the BetMGM Poker app, with the first qualifier scheduled for November 20. The live qualifier, a $540+$60 Big Stack No Limit Hold \u2019em tournament, will take place on January 3 and guarantees 10 seats for the Main Event.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where will The Return be taking place?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the live events for The Return will take place in the Borgata\u2019s Poker Room and Central Conference Center.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
